Song of the week: Give Up – Miles Kane
Miles Kane, of The Rascals and The Last Shadow Puppets fame, released his long awaited single “Give Up” on Xfm this morning. Having established a reputation as a successful solo artist, and gaining a reputation as the ‘ultimate mod’ by sharing an NME cover with the ‘Modfather’, Paul Weller – (cue: “Gosh, don’t they look similar?”), Miles Kane has proved that he is not just Alex Turner’s sidekick – he’s a star in his own right.
Miles is also performing alongside Django Django, Palma Violets and Peace in the NME Awards Tour in February this year, which I am lucky enough to have tickets to!

I’ve loved Miles Kane since becoming obsessed with Last Shadow Puppets a few years back and I’m *finally* seeing him in 10 days. So excited =]

Me too! I saw him two nights ago at the NME Awards Tour in Manchester. He’s absolutely brilliant live… And the crowd went mad for Give Up and Rearrange! Have fun. xx
